Common Scents is a candle brand with hand-drawn illustrations and hand-lettered logo. This satirical handmade candle brand aims to bring quality and fun together through the pairing of illustration, type, color, and ironic taglines.

I was tasked to create a brand identity and package design for a product that utilized box and bottle packaging. With this task, I researched guidelines for candle products and packaging, created a brand identity including hand-lettered logo, colors, typography, and abstract design pattern. I also created candle labels, boxes, candle covers, printed and assembled candle labels, boxes, candle covers, and photographed and edited the photos using Photoshop.
